What is Atekar-TH 4
Atekar-TH 4 Tablet is a combination medicine consisting of aceclofenac, paracetamol, and thiocolchicoside (4 mg). It combines pain relievers with a muscle relaxant to treat severe pain associated with muscle spasms and joint stiffness.
Primary Uses:
- Muscle Spasms & Stiffness: Relieves acute, painful muscular contractions, cramps, and stiffness in the lower back, neck, or limbs.
- Severe Back & Neck Pain: Used for acute low back pain (lumbago), cervical pain, and torticollis (stiff neck muscles).
- Joint & Bone Conditions: Eases pain, swelling, and inflammation caused by conditions like Osteoarthritis, Rheumatoid Arthritis, and Ankylosing Spondylitis.
- Post-Traumatic & Post-Surgical Pain: Treats tissue pain, swelling, and muscle guarding following injuries, sprains, strains, or surgeries.
How the Ingredients Work:
- Aceclofenac & Paracetamol: Non-Steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) and analgesics that block the production of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause pain, swelling, and fever.
- Thiocolchicoside (4 mg): A centrally acting muscle relaxant that acts on the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle tension and restore mobility.
