Sitamin SM is a brand name of Glimepiride Sitagliptin Metformin Hydrochloride Tablets which is useful in treating Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus. Sitagliptin helps in controlling blood sugar level by increasing substances (incretins) in the body which makes the pancreas release more insulin. It also instructs the liver to reduce glucose production when blood sugar levels are too high.

Glimepiride helps in lowering blood sugar by causing the pancreas to produce insulin ( a natural substance which is required in breading down sugar in the body) and helps the body use insulin efficiently. 

Metformin reduces the amount of glucose absorbed from food and lowers the glucose produced by the liver. It also improves the body’s sensitivity to insulin, the natural hormone that regulates blood sugar levels.
